Smoking guns

Got to looking at the price of box vaporizers. That's all I have to say about that.
Then I got to looking at what options came up when I was searching for box vaporizers. Smoking guns and-held wood smokers caught my attention. They seem to be the same principle. The downside being the temperature of the heating chamber. What is it? I can't seem to find consistent answers.
Here's the sort of thing I'm talking about.

That's a good question. Smoked fish would really be a treat! I'm in favor of cream cheese and lox on just about anything baked.
In this case, I am talking about reimaging the use of everyday objects for da vapin' o' da ganja, mon! Irie, and junk.
