I have 2 4x8 tents with
a 6 inch grow brite fan filter combo in each running to another 8 inch fan filter combo in a box that is plumbed outside prob is getting smells outside what can I do. All 3 units only 3 months old if it helps one is in veg one is in flower

Evening 6845, Have all 3 got carbon filters on your exaust? ? If the do they shouldn't be smelling, at least mine isn't, and it's older than yours.
Anyway I hope you get your problem fixed.

All carbon filters are not created equally. I think you should be able to kill that smell with 4 filters before it is released outside. It sounds like e good setup to me.

I hate to plug a brand name, but I must say the Phresh filters are significantly better than the other mid-range carbon filter is had been using.

If you're running a negative pressure system you could have a leak you'll never get rid of the stink. A+ system would just blow the smell back into your room do a little more research on how it supposed to set up. Google grow boss videos on proper way to use filters. The guy is a riot anyway very informative. Hope this helps ☮️

hey kasper as you can see you will get a bunch of answers lol I did alot of heating/ac work and if your ducting has alot of turns/bends in it it does not have the ability to pull the smell out of room so my suggestion would be to make sure your ducts are as straight as possible, does your tent suck in when your exhaust is on? the only reason you have a smell issue is the air in your room isn't getting pulled though fast enough or there is a opening in your room that lets air out ,thats fixed by creating a negative pressure so your tent sucks in

Sorry to but in BUT with the negative preasure your talking about ... you mean no intake fan? And air vents open or closed? I have one vent half open should i close it fully? I take im from the house (its in a spare room) and exaust to outside via the window and a bit of plywood (slide windows)

the intake fan is much smaller than the exhaust fan as far as cfm movement goes and shut everything else .In fact I would close everything else first to see if that was the problem
