Smallest Container for PreFlower.

Hi all, I’ve always grown auto’s, 2 weeks ago I started my first grow using regular beans from SubCools “The Dank”. I’m growing in an all organic water only soil that’s a little expensive, so I wanted to know what is the min. size container I can grow these in until they show their preflowers without getting too root bound. Right now they are 2 weeks old, and I have transplanted them from Solo cups to 1 gal. pots. Since there was enough nutrients in a Solo cup for 2 weeks there should be enough for another 2 weeks in the 1 gal. pot, I’mg just not sure if that size container will be large enough for growing until they show who’s male or female? If any of you that have more experience growing regular seeds could give me some pointers I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.
 
subcool is one of the best breeders in the world so i would have very high hopes for that strain. usually a one gallon pot is enough for sexing and wont get root bound so quickly specially in soil
 
9fingerleafs Thanks for the info. on the pot size, I was hoping it would be big enough. As far as SubCool, I agree with you, and I was happy that you had a good thing to say bout him, I’m not sure why but there are some out there that totally hate him. Me, I’m not looking to buy seeds because the guy or girl has an attractive attitude, I’m looking for quality and from what I’ve learned about him he’s a competent breeder with some good strains.
 
Thanks 9fingerleafs that’s interesting. The strain I’m growing is called Alchemy, it’s a cross of Chemdawg and Purple Urkle. I picked it because it’s supposed to have high THC levels and the nugs are supposed to be rock hard.
