Curious who else has plants other than cannabis growing in their tents/grow rooms?
Myself, I have a small Kumquat tree and a cebu blue pothos. The kumquat is mine and the cebu blue is from a cutting my wife got that I'm nursing back to life.

Nope. I have no other kind of plants and the wife wouldn’t trust me with any of hers that are in the window.

If you like having other plants in there, have you looked into companion planting? I was looking at a page I came across one day about it. There's plants that can help with pest control, and even some that create nutrients for your cannabis plant so it's basically self sustaining. I thought about doing this when I eventually get to do a greenhouse grow. I've also thought about building a few planting boxes for in my tents and trying it out. But then I'm also looking at reusing my soil and using the Subcool recipe. I figure I already have the soil to mix and that's the expensive part, and some ingredients I won't have to buy very often. Anyway, I'll see if I can find that link for you. I found it pretty interesting.

I have some tepin peppers and an aloe vera, they set off to the side and catch the escaping light (I dont use a tent). They really help with keeping the RH up, if it drops to 40% I water the peppers!

I have marigolds grown from seed under my grow lamps. Also trying to grow pansies from seed but progress there not so great. Flowers will go outside eventually.

I will often grow some "catnip" in my grow tent, but mainly in the early weeks seedling/vegetative before the 420 plants fully hit that growth spurt and fill the grow tent with a dense canopy

My wife is really into succulents and growing avocados from seeds, and she’s super jealous of my grow tent (we live in the Midwest where growing outdoors only works a few months out of the year). She always wants to put some of hers in my tent, but then she’ll find some mealy-bugs or something and I have to Just Say No.

It’s my next project if I can free up a tent lol.

My girl’s Italian so we buy cases of tomato sauce..
I really want to grow my own tomatoes, basil etc and try making our own pasta sauce at home instead. With all this extra time why not eh? Aha.

dphipps1020 awesome link/reading material, I wasn’t aware of companion gardening! Just cover crops, but I think Dill would be an excellent addition to the garden

I'm setting up my 3x3 for my wife's extra house plants. I think this is a sign she has too many house plants. Every window sill is full......
