The tinfoil is to help keep the lights from warming the top of the pail. My LEDs don’t project much heat (by design), but keeping the light off the black lid helps to keep things a wee bit cooler. Pics 2 and 3, my buckets are painted white for the same reason.
The strains are either White widow or Northern lights. I can’t recall as these are from 3 years ago.

Ckbrew, thanks. I think i pulled 1lb from each of those plants. They measured up between 25-29% THC.

How did you measure the THC content? Lab tested or have you figured out a way to do it at home?

Not a cheap bit of kit, but it’s lab quality. I’ve used this to check store bought flower to make sure the producers are being honest.

YYCannabis That kit is cool. How long have you been using them, what is the mystery fluid that is implied to be hazmat but does not state anywhere what it is? Any pointers on using the kit. If they go back in stock I may try one.

I’ve been using them since 2019 or 2020. As for using the kit, watch the videos and follow the directions exactly as described. It’s awesome to test home-made green butter and other edibles. Once you know what the THC and terpenes in your baking goods measure out to, you can control how strong/weak the brownies/cookies etc are going to be.

As for the chemical, it’s Trichloromethane…aka Chloroform.
Same stuff you see in movies and on TV when they abduct a person and put this stuff on a rag over a person's face. (DO NOT TRY THIS!!! JUST A FEW SECONDS OF SNIFFING THIS SHIT WILL BURN YOUR BRAIN OUT)
