Should I use glass screen with reflector for efficiency?

Hello. I use a reflector like in picture. Normally I dont use exhale ventilation for lambs becuae of I want to use heat of lambs. So I dont placed the glass screen onto the reflector. Is there any other advantage of glass for plants?

The glass is there to create a seal for people who are using a fan and cooling their grow area. The glass actually reduces light by a small percentage, so there is no real advantage to it other than the temperature regulation when using a fan.
