Imo you need to trim on the inside of the plant to open it up. Then spread out branches. Objective should be to remove leaves that interfere with other leaves and leaves that shade buds. If you trim bud sites, are you trying to make big gigantic buds? That will make big "show case" buds, but the trade off is that you get fewer total buds. As far as total weight yield, you may be better with more smaller buds. It all gets ground up anyway. You will find many different opinions on how to trim.

I agree with ckbrew leave the buds and just make sure you can see dirt when you look above thru the canopy. Dont want mold in the middle developing. Keep air flowing thru the plant. Looking good.

Ckbrew I just opened this thread to read above and I was all prepared to write what you just said then found you had already said it much better than I could have, lmao! Great minds 'eh!

Trimmed them up! Wasn’t easy, hate to cut all that beautiful growth!
how do I clean my scissors?
