KevinQC, taking a few leaves off isn't going to hurt anything, but your plants look great.
You definitely want to keep the colas, from rubbing on each other though, so they can catch a breeze.
If not you could get mold.
Great job with your plants, they look nice.

On my outdoor plants, I keep as many of the fan leaves as possible. They're the engines for the plant so keep them unless they are shading good bud sites. I do a good strip at 20-30 days and as needed.
