Should I be concerned?

Trimming some autos today and noticed this. At a distance it looks like a pollen sac but not sure. I've got plants in the same room I use for drying so I'm wondering if I should be concerned about possible pollination of my photos. Not sure if these are pollen sacs. With trichs on them?

I'm not a 100% sure but I think it's just part of your bud. Think you harvested it a little too soon though judging by those pistles

Those were from deep inside the plant. The bigger buds which accounted for the other 90% of the pistils were all brown and there were no white pistils in sight.

Dont forget that it's not the pistils that tell you when your plant is ready to harvest it's the tricombs. I use the pistils going red as an indicator that it's close. From what I can see in this pic is the pistils are nice and red and the tricombs are turning from clear to cloudy I do not see any amber tricombs in these pix. It may not be to early depending on the high your looking for. Cloudy tricombs give youa more uplifting speedy high. If you want ahighthat puts you in the couch and makes you go nar nars then you want about 80% amber tricombs. Very nice pix btw

A lot of the times if your plant is going to throw a couple bananas, it will be in that larfy undergrowth that isn't getting much light. I don't see anything unusual in your pictures. Those pods (bracts or as most people call them, calyx) are normal part of the plant. If pollinated, this is where the seed grows. If unpollinated, they swell with resin production and are the backbone of your buds.

Male plants do not produce THC, something you seem to have plenty of in these pics. You are close to harvest time. The exact time is up to you but I would give it a few more days to a week.

Males do produce thc but it's less than what is found in hemp, making males typically useless in most grows.

Males will produce THC, some will even get slightly frosty on the stems. Not all males show it, but there are traces in it.

Those are calyx they're part of the bud Indica buds have them most prominent and sativa buds are more smooth looking. Pollen sacks don't grow out of buds like a banana does actually a banana is a pollen sack or at least it's full of pollen. I downloaded these pics because they helped me tell the difference

I stand corrected. Males do produce minimal THC, of such a low concentration that you may as well assume they do not. Most certainly not as much as in your pictures.
