SOIL Seeking advice to increase LED grow yields

Long time reader, first time poster. Growing was legalized in my state last summer so I jumped right in. I've learned most everything from this site and it's always my first place to go with questions. Last summer, I grew two Vision Northlights Feminized Autos indoors, and one Delicious Eleven Roses outdoors (was free with the order). The indoors were:

5 gallon fabric pots
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil
Advanced Nutrients (3 core nutrients)
1 50W LED (Yes, very underpowered as I learned)
1 500W LED (purchased right before flowering, for one plant)
Open air, in my attic.

I ended up with about 1.5oz from one plant (LST), and closer to 2oz (much denser higher quality - this was the 500W LED) from the other (Also LST). One plant did auto, the other didn't, so the grow went much longer than expected. The outdoor had to be cut down in mid October due to but rot, I got about 2oz from that one (Manifold).

So! I decided to up my game a bit and went to the following setup:
Same (new) soil / nutrients (plus Big Bud, B-52, and Overdrive)
Tap water
2 x 4 x 5 grow tent
4" inline fan w/ carbon filter (passive air intake)
Fan in tent for airflow
2 x 500W LED lights (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XNPJXKJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

I decided I do not want to do autos. I'd prefer to manually flip them. This grow, currently about 3-4 weeks out from being done is:
1x Kali's Fruitful Cannabis Jack Mist Tree Feminised - LST
1x Paradise Nebula Feminised Seeds - Manifold
Flowering daytime temp: 68-70, humidity: 45-55%
Nighttime temp: 58-60, humidity: 45-55%

I did a 6 week veg (16/8, forgetting to do 18/6 or even 20/4) and both looked great. Growing very healthy, short and bushy. Following tutorials on here, I defoliated multiple times and have stopped at this point. The buds had lots of trichromes, are pretty dense, and super fragrant. I am expecting about 1.5oz per plant which is decent, but I see so many LED grows where people are getting insane amounts. I've done everything I can think of to keep improve yields and I am just not getting the giant buds I see in photos here. Strain could definitely play a role, as neither of these took off during the first few weeks of flowering like I read they should. I'd say they are about a foot tall. Some photos are attached from about 1.5 weeks ago. I am very happy with these buds but am just looking for ideas for next time to really up the yield. Cheers!

It is great! I was thinking I'd try coco maybe but haven't looked into hydro much. Was just hoping not to put too much more $$ into this

Longer veg time will make a difference for sure an extra 2 weeks will help if u can handle the height. You can harvest alot in soil if everything is right. Also I switched to HPS for flowering and that increased yield. MH for veg. Helps also. Same ballast different bulbs.

I use a 5 gallon bucket set up maybe 25 bucks in each. I've grown many times in same set up. Still growing in them. I have an air stone on order (9 bucks), after 5 years I decided maybe a new one couldn't hurt. You ever set up hydro you will love it. I set it up with stealth in mind, laws have changed, lights have changed. I am planning another grow area. Have a great day !!

I am stating my first Coco Coir grow now, I just posted pictures on my first time grow blog. If you click on my name, you can read what I did and why, I have been documenting my grow in great detail and I have a listing of all the equipment I have bought. I am looking forward to trying Coco I used soil my first grow too. I even bought some Coco pots that I can plant directly into the next pot.

I also switched from LED to HPS due to the Polar Vortex coming and keeping enough heat. After I had that out I figured I did not need much to get a Veg tent going so I am now using both and have my legal 12 plants in MI going!

Good luck!
