Seeds from known female question

This last summer/fall I grew a female strain Train Wreck, it developed PM and while battling that I probably stressed the plant too much, took outside while I sanitized my grow tent/room. Anyway I harvested a little early due to it developing seeds on some of the buds. Question is I saved the best looking seeds and wonder if they will be female also or is it a toss up as to whether they will grow as males or females?? Thanks for any answers, appreciate it and love this site, has given me so much information!!

One would like to hope for feminized - but - not always the case, just have to watch for which sex you get when it's time. In my opinion your chances are greater that they will be feminized.

Since the seeds were bred in an uncontrolled manner...could go either way. It all depends on how the seeds were made exactly.

Thanks for the answers. As I said it went to seed due to stress, that I am sure of, as I tried to get rid of the powdery mildew. Taking it outside, then back into the tent, treatments etc. Guess after my next grow will try a couple seeds and see what I get. Hoping they follow their mother and are feminized!

Taking it outside is always a risk, no way to tell if neighboring pollin got to the girls some how... but if you think the plant hermied due to stress then it’s more than likely they will be feminized. Only issue is the future generations may be hermies as well. That’s the issue with unstable seeds.

On the other side of you statement, next time you find seeds in your girls Don't run and harvest early. Let your plant finish, Getting good weed with seeds is better then early weed with the same seeds.

If external pollination at least you will know 1/2 of the genetics. You might get lucky. I have had superior seeds from a mystery pollinator. Our stoner maid (a life long stoner) says it is the most potent weed she has ever smoked.
