HELP! Seeds advice asap, Please!

I just found a seed in My Mag Landrace, while grinding some small hard bud with duff. It's lighter, not striped but whole. I set it on top of my dirty grinder for a pic, better than a glass coffee table. I'm attaching the original untouched pic and a cropped one. If it's viable, or to 'help' it, what is the best thing I should do with it right now? Tiny Ziploc in a small jar? Dark? Room temp or? Any 'treatment' now that might improve its chances when I want to try to germinate it? WE STILL cannot buy these beans. Thanks!

There is no magic spot. I've pulled em from my shop-vac after 5 or 6 mos. and they were still viable. Stick it in an empty cigarette box and toss it in your desk drawer. They'er tough little buggers.
 
Well Puglover1 , when i buy seeds, they come in a plastic vial usually packaged inside an opaque(not see thru) plastic bag. So maybe a pill bottle kept somewhere dark. Lol come to think of it, i have also grown seeds that were rolling around in a drawer for years too.. Id go for pill bottle in a dark cool place.
 
Hi, like fridge cool, or just not warm? I keep my house at 71/72 summer, 67/68 winter. If this was something I could buy I wouldn't care much but if it germs that's a big deal right now. I want to make clones for anyone who can come get them. If I get lucky I'll find another one or two beans but not holding my breath. Just hoping this one is viable. Better to try it sooner than later, or no matter? Thanks.
 
I stored seeds in used pill bottles to find they all died, ok 8 survived out of about 500 seed. I have had better from the drawer full of weed, or setting around for years.
I keep mine in the fridge now, not frozen, just cold. IF I was going to put something with them it would be rice.
 
Thank you. You're our Seedsman here :) I have my purchased and gifted seeds in the fridge. I save those little desiccant widgets from the pugs' Prilosec bottles. Is humidity a negative for them in storage, or just bc the fridge has humidity?
 
Bonjour toi.! Like Rwise is saying put in a dark container and store it in a cool place or maybe in your fridge. I've been reading about this Iranian landrace you know the "Mag" I read it was very easy to find it in your state Illinois a few years back. You have my attention about this type.

Thanks, just thought I'd ask in case there were sooper secret tips that I wasn't aware of, these seeds are quite desirable. High Times 2020 IL Cannabis Cup winner, an Iranian landrace. No seeds for sale still when I checked a week or two ago. IL went legal rec and med grow 18 months ago, not sure if they will ever sell these beans. From 3 free seeds in dispo 1/8ths I grew enough for a year. If this seed germs it's clone time. I will be like Oprah: you get a clone, you get a clone, anyone who can come get it, you get a clone. Ask panalilies about Mag, I've never heard of anyone who doesn't have it in their top 3 list of strains. I had 3 clones from the first grow, the cat stole them out of the glass that was on top of a bookcase. He likes weed as much as we do. He ate my clones, he topped my dwarf NL auto at node 4 but I still love him.
 
Easy to buy at dispensaries, oui. They run out between grows. I haven't seen them cross it yet either. They've crossed Wild Thai which is why I can't find any to buy. I have the case that Seedsman sent my seeds from across the pond in my fridge on the door. I need to keep this bean's tiny Ziploc marked in code. If I ever hit a Mag bean jackpot I'd love to hear your review. I need to make a dang kief puck with the little s/s pollen press I bought. I might only have enough for one or two but I'd like to smoke Mag hash. It's nice light tan kief that's been in a jar for 6 months.
 
Lily, is that a Verilife dispo? Seems like I've seen that one mentioned a lot recently. Did you buy anything for 710 oil day? Ottawa had buy one get one half off all oils and concentrates but I've been more into flower lately, bought a sativa vape cart last month, it makes me cough too much. Have you tried South Beach yet? I bought 3 cones, 30% THC, I like it a lot. I dx the cones and smoke the weed in a mini chillum, get high four times from a half gram cone. I need to check the menus, haven't been to Morris in a long time, since it became Curaleaf.
