When should my new sprouts be ready to go under the grow light. Is their a Too Soon

You should have been encouraging them up when you planted the seed. NOW is never too late.

I have a small LED on them. they just broke the surface last night. Didnt know if it was too soon for the intensity of the CMH light.
Its the first time Ive done seeds instead of clones.

My understanding: as soon as they emerge, they need light or they'll turn yellow and stretch in search of light. (Welcome to the forum, Tony!!)

I agree. Just be careful of the distance from the light. Seedlings can be a little sensitive to heat/light burn. For the LED hopefully there is a manufacturer recommendation for distance. For the metal halide you can look it up on Nebula's tutorial "How far away do I keep grow lights" on the GWE website above.
