Seedling soil?

Bought fox farms coco loco. Was hoping to start my seedling in there in a small 3" pot and when ready transfer them to a 5 gal pot with ffof. Any thoughts on if I should use the coco loco?

Btw my seeds already sprouted "wet paper"
 
Hey Head896 . You will want to add perlite to your coco. 30% perlite to 70% coco. My towel sprouted went to coco on Oct 1 and poked out on Oct 2. All are starting to grow their first one finger fans. Better results than I had with FF Ocean Forest.
A popular seedling grow pot is a Solo cup. But whatever works. Some people think a second transplant and root trimming helps growth. Trimming roots is a common thing to do when transplanting vegetables from trays, if you do anything outside.
Since I have sun to use, I go with Solo cups for sprout, then into one gallons. This allows me to go from tent to sun without much fuss. Once I put them into their final five gallon fabric pots, they stay in my tent.
Since they need constant nutrients, I've been giving 1/16 tsp of veg nutes and CalMag. Since I'm using a new nute, I'll be increasing strength in a day or so.
 
So I should be fine basically ?I'm just using the Coco in solo cup, then transfering it to ffof 5 gal pot. Just wanna make sure I wont cause any nut burn or wrong MOVES
 
My bad. I read you ffof but dabbed it out of my mind.
Either way you go is fine, really. One transplant or two. Are you familiar with FFOF?
 
First time, heard its really hot so I didn't want to pop my seeds in them. Instead i bought Decomposable 3" cups that I wanna fill Coco loco and then a week later put them in the Fox farm. Just scared to make any moves atm
 
FFOF is hot. I killed many seeds and sprouts before I realized (surmised) it was the FFOF. Once you get a good cup-o-roots, you can go right in. Figure the soil will cool down after 2 weeks. Then start adding nutes. Half strength once or twice to make sure you don't overdo. Then get your nute schedule on. During those first two weeks, I use a foliar spray of 1/4 tsp of veg nutes to a gallon of water. Do a little research on foliar sprays. Heck! Do a search on the GWE Forum home page search engine. You'll get a hundred ideas.
 
You aren't wanting to wash anything out, intentionally. It will happen naturally with regular plant watering. 4 or 5 times will be enough to cool it for nutes.
