Seedling in some kind of trouble

I need some help with this. This is my first grow, and this is one of five Shillings I have in promix and Solo cups under 300 watt LED lights. This one is around two weeks old and I was going to transplant it into its forever 3 gallon grow bag with kind soil today. Why are these little leaves curling and looking limp? It doesn't look like it will survive a transplant.

The plant will do fine- if you back off the lights @ 28" and transplant once it begins to recover a bit from too much of everything!
 
I am planning on replanting this in a 3-gallon cloth pot. Right now they are about 18 inches away from the 300 watt lights. Is that too much? Too close? I was told 18 in.

These have only been in the Solo cups for about six days. The root system is not out to the edges of the cup. They were started in Rapid Rooter plugs, and then placed in the Pro mix in the Solo cups 6 days ago.
 
Clear cups are bad for roots...roots won't grow to the edge of the cup if they're exposed to light. Transplant and it's always a safe bet to decrease light intensity for troubled or sick plants. You lower lights when it recovers.
 
I used clear cups for years (before I switched to germbags) and there is no problem as the seedling will only be in it for a 7-10 days.
I liked them because you can see the roots and get a percise time to transplant.
 
Yeah it's been six stated above...I've read under intense lights it's not good. They will grow to the edge of the cup but will revert back into the darkness. If they dry out and are exposed to light it will damage root tips and fibers that are essential.

It's not bad but can cause negative phototropism and reduce the auxin of exposed roots to promote growth.

A - when the tips are removed, no auxin is made so the stems do not grow

B – when the tips are covered, auxin moves to all parts of the stem causing all parts to grow

C - when the tips are lit from one side only auxin accumulates on the shaded side causing it to grow more than the illuminated side

That's what I thought too, which is why I put them in clear cups instead of the red ones. All the rest but perfectly fine. It's just this one. At any rate I'm transplanting them today into the cloth pots and I have raised the lights.
 
I addition, I would say to be careful not to over water. It looks like that might be going on.
This will start being easier once in the very breathable cloth bags especially once they grow into them, but be careful to let the surface dry out to the first knuckle on your finger, between waterings.I always feel like it is good to give a good soak after transplant though.
Keep the lights back for a day or two after transplant, to, they want a little break from the light afterward, especially if a few roots break or are damaged.
 
Just drop those clear cups into some red ones check your roots any time. No light..no worries.
 
Will autos respond to container size like photos? I've no experience growing autos (ha! No experience growing anything over than orchids!)
