Seeded buds

Welcome back All. Hello my friends. Got some OG Kush from a friend who messed up his light schedule for couple days. Fixed it and finished his grow. Buds are potent and good, however I found a few seeds. I know this was caused by the stress he created exposing light. Seeds are in great shape and I'm thinking of growing them. What can I expect from using seeds from these buds? Will they be male and female, or hermi on there own? Will I get bananas? Or could they be just as good as the previous? Thank all

I didnt know females can develop seeds just from being stressed, i thought they had to be pollinated by a male no matter what in order to get seeds, unless the stress made it hermie and it pollinated itself, is that what happened? Garcon

They should come out female but will hermit as well. Not bad at first but after a few generations it gets to an unacceptable level. At least that has been my experience.

I would think your gonna have plenty of hermies so I believe i would try to get some good seeds if I was seriously going to all the time and effort to try to grow some killer..

I've planted seeds from "hermie" with no issue, what so ever.

Now here is why- If you know the reason the plant became seeded and that reason is a "correctable" stressed environment- it doesn't mean the plant tends to hermie - !

The last batch I did was exodus cheese, where the original grower let his crop stay in too high heat and did not correct it- in a timely fashion.
He didn't want anything to do with the seeds and blamed genetics for his shortcomings.

I took some of those seeds and looked for the mature ones, amongst the varied developement stages of seeds found (which confirms how long he let it go, as there was green to very mature ones).

I grew them in an enviroment without the harsh stressers and the plants came out fine.(just a little slow to germinate- is all).

Please share your actual experiences, if you planted seeds from hermied plants.
Curious minds wanna know!

I been uses my own seeds for a year now crossing strains and what not I create my seeds from light leaks I have yet to actually seen a plant fully hermie with both sex parts but I always have a banana or two that I can never find even if I look for a hour everyday for weeks
