Seed Shops

Thanks for the info man, looks like a good deal, will check it today!!!haha we don't have mods in GWE,it's just Nebula and Sirius if im not mistaken ;)

I left Sensible seeds a review on that site! Here is another reviews site with locations of where they came from to include the U.S.

http://en.seedfinder.eu/seedbanks/reviews/

Aaah!Seedfinder is not just a review-seedbank site! If you don't know it,it is one of the best seed-databases out there and soon GWE members will be able to link threads from here to the respective strain in seedfinder's database!! You can leave a review on a strain, seedbank, seedshop! You can upload pictures, get promotions and new updates on many things such as new strains and giveaways!!

Several reasons. A Credit / Debit transaction costs money. Many companies get small amounts of money per transaction. International transactions cost even more money. It may sound like small amounts but the business bears that expense. Many decide it's not worth the cost, time, and effort. Also the customer owns most of the protection. If I dispute a transaction (especially credit) most of the burden of proof falls upon the recipient of the payment (the business). Also marijuana seeds are illegal to possess in many places and thus illegal to ship to as well.

Over the years I've seen just about every major seed bank go through periods of not being able to take credit cards. I've learned that what often happens is the bank they're using to process credit cards will suspend their account for whatever reason, and then they can't take cards until they find a new bank. Considering their business model, it can be difficult to find a new bank willing to process cards for them!

But usually each company somehow finds a new way to take credit cards if you just give them a month or two. Even if they don't, there's always other seed sources available which can take card payments!

Got my Sensi Jack Herer reg. seeds today from SeedSupreme:
Ordered Jan 23. Notified of brief delay same day. Seeds shipped Jan 26. Arrived dirty South Feb. 3. Eleven days from order. Not too shabby.

Nartak, got the Sensi seeds regular Jack H. because that's the OG Jack H. Here's what Nebula has to say about it on GWE:
"Weirdly potent - Jack Herer by Sensi Seeds - Sometimes called the "champagne of strains" the true version of Jack Herer is obscenely expensive and is only available in "regular" (non-feminized) form from Sensi Seeds. It's a world famous strain with buds that blend some of the best tropical Sativa genes for an "up" (or sometimes even "hallucinogenic") effect, combined with strong Indica genes to give it a heavy body effect - the best of both worlds! It has amazing resin production that extends from the buds to the leaves, producing valuable trim. It has only average yields and can be a little tough to grow, so it's meant more for the connoisseur who just wants the best as opposed to growers who care about getting the highest yields possible. Although it's very mold-resistant, it doesn't respond that well to topping (cutting off the main stem to "split" the plant) and should only be trained using LST (low stress training) to get the best results."

It wasn't "obscenely expensive," but I like a challenge...

What's STS? I'm stupid today... Friday afternoon... braindead... need to smoke a CB (caucasian blunt)...

Silver Thiosulfate! Creating female seeds remember?.... Why don't you try making ur own female seeds from that JH?

Oh shitNartak you throwin that science wizardry at me!! Not fair on Fri night!! Totally science-impaired tonight, so don't traumatize me. Hard week. Students revolting, threatening pure apathy. The orange one is alienating the entire world as only an utterly vulgar and narcissistically-disordered germo-gyno-phobe could, my dog had tapeworm. A very hard week!!

Ok link me to the thread that explains making my own fem seeds, because they aint cheap and I was actually thinking of trying to grow two at a time and pollinate a female to get seeds.
If Sensi doesn't want to feminize the original, multiple-trophy-winning JH, why would I want to mess w the genetics? Chromosomes? Xylophones? Zygotes? I can't remember...

If you just want female seeds. Just let one of your plants Hermi. All seeds will be female seeds.

I believe that is not true,that is a way old way of producing seeds i think and not female guaranteed! Hermie by stress-seeds can be hermie seeds whereas STS is applied on a sole branch/stem which is enclosed in wrap to prevent dripping! The other plant is grow 2 weeks later(at least) than the first plant so they reach maturity apart and are always kept apart in tents!During Pollen application,pollen is brushed upon "female parts" and secured with baggies so it doesn't again spread to parts you don't want seeds on! ?It's as simple as this ;

Male : XY
Female : XX

Hermie : XY + XX

Now when you cross female with female in pollination you get : XX + XX : XX

This only stands for sexing and not for phenotypes or anything else,i have no idea how phenotypes and genes are passed on and how % of each are calculated!Thats why i suggest it only for femaling reg seeds you want to keep or multiplying your awesoe phenotype plant

Like Wattze had with his grow,it hermied on him...That plant was beauty on a green stick!!Beautiful characteristics..He could've kept the seeds, planted equal numbers 2 weeks apart and keep the female ones..Then apply as needed and his own (i think it was bagseed) little "strain" thing going on...His own personal collection of THAT plant..Those seeds would most likely produce little beauties like their mom...
