seed shell stuck on plant

hello my friends, my plant broke ground three days ago, but seed is still attached, i gently poked it with a toothpick, but it didn't pop off. this morning it was about an inch above the soil, so I put some around it, to help support it. should i be concerned with this situation, or just ride it out. pics are crappy, but you may be able to spot the seed.

I've had this happen probably 50 times I'm not sure, but just give it a little time and it should pop off. If not you'll have to gently help it. I think they do this when we don't get the seed deep enough but it could just be like when plants grow weird , crooked, or not at all. ???

Keep the seed shell moist by spritzing it with water every now and then without watering the soil too much. Putting it in direct sunlight has helped me also. Don’t ask me why but it did. Maybe the heat. Good luck. Avoid the temptation to try to pull it off. It can cause the top to break off then you are out of luck.

What MeEasy said. I usually use a pair of tweezers. I close them up and put them under the seed pod and let them open. That is usually enough pressure to chuck the hull.
