Why is there such a wide range of prices for the same strain? I'm talking about reputable suppliers, not some fly by night guys. Is it genetics, quality or simply what the market will bear? Looking for some Durban Poison Auto seeds and can't decide if I should go with a good "deal" or if you get what you pay for...

seedsurpreme.com often have bogos for their seeds I will buy 8 seeds for 87 and get 16 that puts them at 5.43 per seed

Well start with the reputable source, which you have done. Choose a reputable breeder with a good reputation. Pay your money and take your chances. All all things being equal, choose the best price.

Seems to be now adays with ever product being transported. Inflation is the new greed. Pretty packages, star studded advertising me i'm pretty sick of it all. Hardley can look at the bedazzled BS it's all over everthing. That's my rant sorry. Yes i pay for good suppliers i like viable seeds that don't rise up and dampen off, nothings 100% sure thing .

With those old genetics that have been around for decades pretty much any breeder/brand has more or less the same stabilized top notch genetics. It takes a while for strains to get stable and it's well known among the industry which cuts are the best so over time everyone has the same cuts. It the new crosses that are hard to get that are a gamble. Could be some great stuff or could be a disappointment.
I've been growing for years trying different breeders; DNA genetics. Reserva privada. Humbolt seed o. Serious seeds. Royal queen. green house. Pheno finder. Sweet seeds. Delicious seeds. And others I don't recall right now. But this year I tried for the first time a 200 dollar pack from in house genetics and my gosh. I've never seen a plant with more trichomes than this one. Definitely worth the price because I run a growing business. I'm also trying for the first time rare dankness and t h seeds. But haven't flowered yet so I don't know how good theyll be
