Seed prices

I buy seeds from a reputable company - recommended by a pro grower. And I was browsing their website. The price of a single seed ranges from just a few quid to 70/80/90 bucks.
I'm just wondering what justifies this huge range of prices. Is it to do with quality/yield/reliability, or are market forces at work i.e supply & demand?

All of the above in my opinion. Some truly premium genetics are expensive. But also the hype and marketing can drive shity products prices way up. What was recommended to you?

No recommendation for seed 9fingerleafs . Just finger in the air! I'm a novice grower and wanted one indica and one sativa. I chose medium-priced seeds that looked nice in their photos.
And fair to say - both looking happy enough (for a first time grower:no-way:) in their eighth week.

They'll also give you freebies and a discount if you pay with cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, my last purchase with them still hasn't arrived in almost 2 months, it was probably seized at customs, so for situations such as this it's worth picking the slightly more expensive "tracked shipping" option. At least that way you'll know if it's only delayed or if something happened.

Precisely why I chose a supplier in my country of residence! (UK)
I can recommend The London Seed Co. for any Brits out there.

Hi welsh, I've noticed that after a strain wins a Cannabis Cup, the price may be higher for a while, but eventually the prices go down. However, something like Grad Daddy Purple has stayed expensive for a long time. You know that they will charge what people will pay...
