I'm officially canceling this topic and have moved it HERE and removed any implications other than Cannabis Cultivation Influences


Personal Note: The topic is a joke folks, a parody involving the Initials ER and JC. I am not choosing a side, Science or Religion; I’ve already personally done that some time ago, nor am I asking you to. I was just curious who or what influenced and sill influences your cannabis cultivation. Sorry if the title has left many scratching their heads.

The first few months of my crazy grow, before joining here, was using knowledge I had from reading a Frank & Rosenthal book I bought in 1979. I got the first seed I dropped pretty far using a grow bulb in a hanging lampshade.
 
This one ? I still have it somewhere in the basement.

I bought the JC bible about 15 years ago. It gave me a lot more knowledge than I expected. It was my go to read when building my grow room. Since finding this great site I've only looked at it a couple times. I have never read Ed.
 
My exposure to the aforementioned experts is limited to what I read here. One of the reasons why I'm so grateful to GWE is the "Open Sources" we get to learn about for free...which as a young man I so coveted.

I am ambivalent about the topic religion or spirituality. I am an innate agnostic. I have no clue what religion is correct or if any of them are. Spirituality may be a term for our existential selves, as a placeholder for what we desperately hope for what might be. A cognizance that lasts longer than our mortal shells.

Forgive me, I haven't had any doses of reality yet (LSD-25 Auto bud) today. Perhaps this evening...
 
I've watched that one before! The guy cracks me up. I think his lady friend is the one who keeps him from running off into a ditch. (Figuratively speaking).
 
I've got books by both of them. I bought them after taking what I could from the internet plus my own intuition. I've got JC's Cannabis Encyclopedia, ER's Grower's Handbook, Greg Green's Cannabis Breeder's Bible and also some Dutch propaganda called Weed of Wonder: explore the world of cannabis through the collection of Ben Dronkers and the hash marihuana & hemp museum.

Science, religion, spirituality, technology, design. I am evolving into a semi-intelligent being with thumbs, a belly button or two, and an endocannabinoid system. I'm all good.

I don't care who that Swami head is. I otta flag you Farmbuck . You posted an infomercial. I spent a good thirty seconds of skipping through before looking for the double offer and free Ginsu knives.

First, the switch to autos? Now, this? FB, mein freund... you might want to cut back on your weed.
 
BU2B I knew that before tapping my reply, well played! I should have taken my "medicine" before going out in "public". I should know better, going so deep down the philosophical well too early. A few bong hits later, I'm right as rain!!! ;)
