Same plant: From harvest back to veg (for clone cuttings)?

Can I take my favourite plant from my grow, which I grew from seed, and put veg nutes on it with 18/6 lightning, and grow healthy clone cuttings this way? Or does going through flower compromise the legitimacy of any clones that later come from that plant?
sincere regards,
lewis

Lewisbeattie I have successfully done what you are describing. I had 5 Blue Dream fems. At harvest, I selected the best for my mother and left some foliage on it to give it a head start on reveg. The reveg took about 3 weeks before the plant began to grow normally. I gave it another week before cutting clones. The clones all took root quickly (using the regular cloning protocols) and grew strongly. I didn't want to keep the mother long term, so gave it a couple more weeks to fill out then flipped its lighting back to 12/12 and took a second harvest from it. The clones all produced well, although not quite as good as the first harvest on the mother. I was pleased with the process and would do it again if the situation warranted.

Read this https://www.growweedeasy.com/re-veg-monstercropping . I reveged all 3 totes 2 plants in each last summer after harvest. Elected to remove 1 plant from the White Widow tote due to reveg being out of balance and knowing one plant would be ready for flowering before the other had filled out. I took clones from the White Rhino tote just before switching to flower. I later lost the one White Widow I kept to rot in the stem but was able to take clones from it. When Starting the reveg lights are on 24/7 till I seen new growth then dropped back to 18/6. The more green ie leafs or airy buds the better the reveg seemed to go from my experience of how the 6 different plants progressed through reveg.
