Running my and hps at the same time

so I was just reading a post about someone running a dual lamp reflector and it got me thinking.... I know some growers will have led light source as their main lighting and then supplement with cfls for where the led beam doesn't quite reach. I know u can flower with a mh and you can veg with a hps. It's not really what works best but it can be done. So my line of thought is if you had both hps AND mh running at the same time during flower would it give the plants more spectrum and result in a higher potency or heavier harvest? Or would one be better off just putting all the wattage into hps for flower? Has anyone ever tried this or have any information about it? I have never flowered with anything other than hps indoors and just thought this would be worth some discussion. Any and all comments, thoughts, experience, ect. are encouraged. I am really interested in this idea. Thanks everyone

some growers Use 1 250 W mh between 2x 600wat Hps . and works greates .

I'm not sure if more potent but it is better. There is a formula. Idk where I saw it but I think its s 1/2 or 1/4 the size mh to a hps

I use a 4 foot florescent black in addition to my 400 watt led grow light. I hang it parallel to the girls.
