Run off PH

Just watered plant and took PH reading of run off. Growing in FFOF soil. Going in water registered in the low 6 range (6.2's) and run off was in the high 6 range (6.8's). I use drops so range is a quessestimate. I did add silica but adjusted PH before watering. PH is within acceptable range but should I be concerned with so much of a jump in PH runoff?

Ffof seems to do that to me to. Just ph 6.0 for a while and keep checking. I know I started to get little brown dots on my leaves when my runoff was high. Hope this helps!

Your ph range is fine ..as fozzy said..give at 6 and it will come down...when using many silent like we all do...they will leave residue in the medium which will cause spikes from time to time in either direction...maintain good ph and it will pass...
