Rosin Tech anyone?

Hey everyone,
Just checking to see who else uses the Rosin Tech for solventless extracts? Here's my set up and a few past squishes. Dabpress 3x5 caged plates and a 12ton harbor freight press

Bucky, I considered it for a while, but decided that it would limit me to dabbing and using the oil pad with my vape. So I decided to go with the Source Extractor to make wax and a bunch of other stuff. Real good for concentrating a tincture as well!

Oh so that really works? I've never talked to anyone that's used one, I've just seen the reviews which can be hard to trust. Have you posted about it and I missed it? I almost bought one

Agentbuckwold3 that's the topic I posted on using it. It is awesome. But it's funny cuz I did start out looking at rosin presses, which I thought at the time were too expensive. Plus it seems like you have to put good-sized amounts of bud into it to get the rosin, and my grows are relatively small. Now if I were harvesting a couple of lbs, I'd definitely press some of it...

Then it was love at first sight when I learned about the Source, cuz it's versatile. I haven't made beautiful wax like yours, but it's next on the agenda (after harvest in November). I always ended up with a RSO style black goo: not good for vaping/dabbing, but good under the tongue. Or, when it gets evaporated down to that point, I add a little MCT and a drop of terpene to make vape juice.

Are you going to do a regular dry on the bud before throwing it in or freeze it for more of a live resin? I will say I have yet to do a dab. I feel if I had a rig I would waste too much product with unnecessary large dabs. So I bought a Yocan Evolve plus and replaced the quartz coil with a ceramic donut coil because it's so much easier to clean. And I can make .1g last all day hitting every few hours

Bucky, In order to extract in Everclear 190 proof, bud should be very dry. Any tincture will be better the less water there is in it. I freeze thoroughly dry bud.
