Roots?

Hey

first time using a ezclone type setup .. is this the start of the roots? One of 4 has got one 5mm root starting. Its exciting haha but the other 3 are like this... just hoping its roots rather than a issue (temps are floating between 18-24 ... 700ml ice water bottles is my solution to keep it down but at jight when i wake ita 25 ish..)

also is it usual for the stem to swell up a bit. Im about 7 days into it maybe 10... i didnt keep track (i got 4 cuttings in jiffys just in case lol)

Sorry just looked at the photo.. not very clear :( they are little white round things haha. Prerty sure they are the start but i have nfi really :(
 
I'm not very good at clones, but Ganja Ged is , maybe he will see your post and chime in.
I can't see your pictures very well, but my guess would be stem borers.
 
Some better pics including the first root. Using pH 5.8-6 water.. with au 60 root repair (nulife brand)

After I get my cuttings under the dome I don't mess with them until I see roots out the side of my rooting cubes
 
Lol first time so my bad lol. I have them on a 15min on off cycle as its small and the pump is getting the temps too high (using a 20l bucket) 3000l pump haha my small 1500 didnt cut it pressure wise.

geeze the root grow fast. About 15ml growth in 24 hrs (i can see them when drop the ice bottles in) now i know they are doing what they need to im happy.

Thanks.. im loving growing again. Ive missed it haha. Didnt realise root grew so fast once they poke through :)
 
It might be a silly question but any advantages ot disadvantages of throwing a airpump in. Im using misters etc and will be put in coco once roots are formed enough
 
The one I had did have an air pump with it so I used it but not sure if it helped but couldn't hurt. It might be worth mentioning that I also used H2O2 in the res at like 3 ml per gal. that also oxygenates the water and keeps it fresh.
 
Try a ezclone knockoff they said. Its easy they said.... 2 pumps and a 200l chiller later. All to keep 20l of water cool :/ spiked at 28c this morning :/ still just white lumps.. and one root thats getting to long since im growing in coco. I believe i read somewhere roots can be cut with steryl sisors?

rockwool or jiffy cubes again next time :/ (i have 3 under a dome in jiffy's just to be safe haha) maybe proper ezicliner works well but temps causing me shit. Now it will stay at 22-23c constant .. see how i go over the next few days.
 
Annndddd dead. Got home to a pump fail. And it had to be 36c today :/ The one with the roots i tranaplanted right away. A little droopie but might make it. Other 3 nup. Stems dry and fucked. Glad i threw a few under a dome... already got roots on one (4 days it took from a cutting half way through flower. One more looks close. Only need 2 or 3 so fingers croased lol. I dont wana take a few more off my girl. Worst case ill reveg her and get some. Oh and it was

i think for now ill stay with domes... fun and games
