HELP! Root rot victims: keep or cull

New lights get no credit as they have only been on for 2 days. But I do hope with the new lights that my xylem will be all xylemie and my phloem flowin 😉

Yep...2 days...should have ‘em jumping out of the buckets tomorrow !!🧟‍♂️ YYCannabis, I can believe that 2 days of these lights can invigorate some signifiant exchange between the roots and the leaves and transporting nutrients and greater balance to the live structure within those stems. I think you’re gonna be amazed. Watch out that one of them doesn’t jump behind you and try to kiss you !🤪. I am so happy I bought another 8 strips today.... they’re having a Black Friday sale for 25.99 instead of 27.99.... I’m planning on running 48 total. They are no cheaper as you know than Nextlight or electric sky and others in that class but these are just head and shoulders above by my comparisons

Not sure about Runty now. Trichomes are starting to show a few amber

She’s looking a little worse for wear due to the root issue and treatment. Red stems are still bright. And freckles everywhere.

Her cola is thin but still has some good crystals although not much on the sugar leaves.

I’m not sure how many more days before I harvest. When should I flush? Suggestions?

Cheers

Mr.furley no CalMag or other additives. Just Bloom and Blend nutes. I don’t want to harvest prematurely, so I can give her the time she needs. Are you suggesting start flushing in a week? Or start flushing in 4-5 days?
ph has been pretty stable. I’ve been watching and adjusting daily to around 6.1.

@looks like the root problem set you up for a few deficiencies. The trichomes look ambered up so it’s looking very close 5-7 days seems right

Since this is my first harvest, could you explain what you see in this plant that makes you think she needs more time? And what I should watch for to know when to flush? This way I can understand what the guru is looking at so I can learn from this.

The spots on the leaf and slow growth is because you are experiencing a calcium deficiency. At this point you don't need to add this and should just let it ride but you should look at adding a calmag to your nutrient army.
The pictures of the buds are a little blurry for trichomes so I'm going by the bud as a whole, hairs turned in and 80% red. With hydro you only need to run plain water for 72hrs before you cut her down, I'd check back with some pictures in 4 to 5 days for a go ahead to flush.

You say you have been watching and adjusting your PH Daily, Does it keep dropping and you are bring it back up?

A dropping PH can be a sign of potassium excess. Potassium excess can cause a a calcium, magnesium, zinc and Iron deficiency. Something to ponder for your next round.

Lookin awesome, YY! Give those stigmas time to dry out, shrivel, curl in: they turn color, but they get closer to being done when the stigmas have dried and curled.

Here’s some updates pics as it has been a few days. Tried to get better closeup with the micro, but these eyes ain’t what they used to be. 🤣

Flush or wait?
