Didn't see the landslide. Don't really care unless a space alien's UFO gets revealed. They are not as uncommon as one might think. Landslides, I mean. Those UFO's are as rare as you have heard. Locals consider people who get crushed in a landslide as culpable as the rock that does the crushing. Same-same with getting bit by a shark. There are signs warning of impending doom because of shark sightings or infringements on the cliff's personal space. You know the dangers and deserve the shit as well as the sugar.
Yeah. Nekkid people. I was friends with a guy who was a meth and sex addict who had to quit for a few particular reasons. He said (colloquially) Black's is mostly gay and straight men who are looking to get laid and get rid of tan lines. Women always stayed in groups unless looking to get laid. But sex, cameras, and kids on the beach are strictly enforced taboos. I can't imagine anything more humiliating than getting yelled at by a bunch of naked people.
Blacks is also a quasi-famous surf spot and there is an abandoned concrete home on the beach that few people know about.​​​​​
