RFI

Hello . I'm new to all this I did get on here about 2 years ago but I had to move to PR to take care of my dad and i couldn't do what i wanted but now I'm back and ready . My question is how do I take care of RFI . I have 2 600w hps I did the radio thing and I'm only getting interference in the room that the lights are in but I dont know if someone else could pick it up . And I also would like to get me a mars hydro I think it's the sp3000 but I dont know if led lights give out RFI can some one please help me out . Thank you

I've noticed magnetic ballasts will interfere with a tv. Digital ballasts and LEDs will not. Never tried a radio. These days ppl don't use em anyway lol

I dont play the radio, to damn many commercials, but I do roll tape, spin LPs, and CDs with no interference from the Mars Hydro TSW 2000.
You may be able to clean up the ballast with ferrite chokes, or it may take shielding, I have not researched it. The ferrite choke can stop the noise from feeding back down the power line.

Thank u for responding I'm going to use a 600w hps on my first grow and then some time next month I'll get the marshydro 3000 or something like that . I'm waiting on my seeds right now I'll be posting my grow .
