Reusing growing mediums, and feeding questions.

Currently growing a seedling and also germinating another one called Candy Bonez by Bean Fiendz a sativa dominant strain that usually outgrows my tent. Imma imply topping, lst, hst if things go out of hand again. I wanr to keep them inside my tent without having to invest in a third tent.

I’m reusing the coco coir I was using on my second run from one plant, and also reusing the soil medium I was using for my last run for another Candy Bonez thats germinating.

currenty using two led lights one from spider farmer sf-1000D 100 watts, and another 100 watt light from vivosun vs1000E
I’m gonna get a stronger light to replace both lights i’m using.

I also lowered the two oscillating fans to give the little seedling some breeze. Also running my inline duct fan with the carbon filter.

current reading stats are:
temp: 79.7*F
humidity: 53.1%
vpd: 1.61 kpa kinda high, but I do need some airflow in the tent.
light: 18/6
ec/ppm: 0.722 ec, 361 ppm
pH 6.0

runoff was around 950 ppm, 1.9 ec. But I’ve been using only water for these days about 500 mL and stopped using nutrients. I gave her water the other day and runoff came at 630 so what gives?

should I start feeding 1/4 strenght of general hyrdoponic nutrientd already? this is what I have to work with…
silica gold, floragro, floramicro, florabloom, cal-mag, and diamond nectar.

my buddy told me to use 1.6 ec, 800 ppm and use the following recipe:

silica gold: 1ml
floragro: 2ml
floramicro: 2ml
No floragro: 0ml
cal-mag: 1 ml
Diamond nectar: 2ml
pH: 5.8

I’m open to suggestion, pointers, anything to help improve my third run.

With the runoff coming in at 778 ppm, 1.5 ec, at a pH of 6.38

I would be more concerned about that pot your using on that tiny plant and not worry about the techie stuff. How many weeks you been growing that poor thing?

So the plant is around 4 weeks of age havent taken track. This seedling was gonna be gift and was left outside… now I tool her inside since the seed cost money. Im germinating a second one on soil medium im reusing and the clay pots are the smallest pots I have at the moment :(
I only have 5 gallon fabric pots and one spare 2 gallon plastic pot

I've just run into a lot of trouble re-using coco for the 3rd time. Seedlings wouldn't grow roots in it.

I think the biggest problem was it sat for 6 months and during that time bad stuff grew in it. I totally washed and flushed it but I still couldn't get one sprout to properly take root.

I lost 5 I think.

Same seeds and sprouts with identical conditions in 5 pots with new coco no issues and doing well.

IMO re-using coco defeats the purpose of using it in the first place - which is complete control of your nutes. Even if you wash it you still don't know that everything was flushed out and it becomes a guessing game.

I think if you can run perpetual grows and continue using it, it may be fine, but you'd have to check with those using that process.

It was a frustrating process working out the problem.
