I just completed a grow- where I use amended roots organic soil (veg) added Nirvana flowertab when entering the 12/12 small tent, with a marshydro 300w LED at a "safe" distance- watering every 3-4 days and forget it. The yield was low at 2 ounces of bud and 1 ounce of sugar leaves- but so was the work/time involved.
Three plants were used 1 sativa-dominant clone (Tahoe OG Kush), 1 indica-dominant (Green Love Potion) and 1 autoflower-bubblecious.
- all were treated as photoperiod receiving 18/6 or 20/4 then into 12/12.
Sativa (3 gal) began yellowing of lower fan leaves upon the flip and a staged harvest began very early @ 6 weeks and ran until 8 weeks.
Indica (2 gal)showed no deficiency signs what so ever during the grow.
Autoflower (2 gal)showed no deficiencies (only had 1/2 flowertab per instructions).
All 3 harvested at least 1-2 weeks earlier than noted by manufacturer- (other previous grows all completes 1 week earlier under the LED)
Buds are all dense/solid without any airy ones-
The post-mortem showed no bugs, healthy roots but additional room to grow.
Next step is to increase the LED to 500w (240 at the plug) and be more aggressive with LED distance.
Increase container size (all 3 gal) and plant size before placing into 12/12- as these were flipped @ around 10-11 inches and there was plenty of headspace left.
Dose "foliage pro" for 2 weeks before flower through 2 weeks in flower.
Add neem cake to the roots organic mixture.
What I am looking to accomplish- is a grow that is in balance with my lights/tents/temperature and cannabis usage - with only watering.
I am using a germination bag placed into the final container- so no transplants either.
