HYDRO Reservoir question

I harvested my dark devil auto but my gorilla glue auto is lagging behind and probably has another week or two. Since they shared a reservoir and i chopped down one of them should i try to separate the roots somehow or just cut the roots and leave wvseything entangled?

This is the reason I don't use shared pots for multiple plants.
Unless you can separate the root ball, I would cut the old root mass off of the net lid and trim as much as possible.
You will get some funk as the old roots decay, so Id monitor it for signs of root distress.

Yeah i didn't think about it until after i cut it down. Been seeing everyone using buckets might have to switch to that soon
