Hello everyone this is my 1st post and 1st grow. I have been growing Royal Gorilla fem photo seeds 2 plants.i have them in 5 Gallon pails and prior to switching to flower I built a RDWC system to make easier fluid change in on the 4x4 tent after the double scrog was installed which I did today. Oh running 1 1000w hid digital balist. About 8 weeks into veg on the tent. Everything is going great with no issues other than my water return pump is very loud. Does anyone know the best return pump to use.

I always though the advantage of recycle DWC was to drip feed the top of the plants, and that doesn't take much of a pump...4 x 4 GPH emitters on each plant = $20 pond pump. You might be able to quiet the pump you're using by lengthening the suction line. In a industrial application, we aim for at least 10 diameters of straight pipe before entering the suction side of any pump to get a laminar flow.
