Ok I'ma give this plant it's own page simply cuz it's my first time running a f1 cross of an auto and photo....at least publicly. First time wasn't pretty but it was many moons ago and I was a virgin and learned a lot. I'm super cereal it will work this time.
This girl front left in the pic is a cross of Masterpiece by In House genetics and Raspberry runts Auto from rocbud. I reversed razz runts and pollinated the master with her. The rest are back left to right.

She's acting like a long veg auto as I suspected. Would probably bud under 19 hours but the switch happens before New Year's. That's a test for later. She and the others look happy. Accidentally topped Trop Cherry being heavy handed. Damnit.

Did a second topping on just the taller legs of Razzterpiece, Masterpiece and Sugar cane. Moved the younger ladies to the front. Razzterpiece is back left. Got the humidifier cranking trying to stay above 60
masterpiece is the biggest lady followed by sugar then razz. Flip happens Sunday.

You peoples are awesome, I can’t even get a plant to look like that. I mean I am only on my third plant, and all three looked about the same at the 40 day mark. Guessing I need to up my skills. This girl here is a Tangerine Auto at 40 days that I’m growing also in NLS mixed with FFOF, and maybe because I LST she’s only about 8-10 in tall. Could it be my shallowish pot?

Felkamlor I'm going to perhaps double your next harvest with three little words: Don't top autos. Your plant is 8"-10" tall because of your LST, as you mentioned. Autos are not photos and do not recover and continue growing/vegging like photos and feminized. You removed your main cola and any secondary flower nodes.
Which brings me to Going2fast's Razzterpiece. If I'm not mistaken, RP is not an auto, it is a homemade fastbud. G2F does not top autos, typically. I was surprised RP got topped, twice, no less, until I realized it was a FB.
So, Felk, whatever G2F is doing with RP, do not do the same with other autos or his Razz's or Scarlets. They are not the same.

Gingerbeard, so, along with Not topping, do you think I might be going too hard on LST, this is a pic of my first, a Northern Lights Auto from SeedSupreme, at about 40 days as well, also, since she was my first, I didn’t top her I just LST when I wasn’t scared, but they look pretty much similar. The second here is Scarlet Runtz, shoutout to Going2fast that I did top and LST, but they are about the same ages

My opinion is you have done way too much LST to an auto unless you have height limitations but plenty of footprint. I am not saying you are right or wrong. Just that it is unnecessary. Were you growing feminized or photos, I'd say you are spot on.
They look similar because they are both weed, about the same age, and you have trained them similarly.

Yes razzterpiece is a fast photo. All the rest are photos. Don't top them autos and let them go up a little. Too aggressive lst is just as bad as topping.

I never top auto flowers,I'm not that comfortable with my skills, maybe after I grow a few more I'll try stuff like that,I tried doing lst on a gelato auto a couple years ago and it was a disaster

Well, I do have some of the scarlets left from Going2fast, so when this one is cure stage , I’ll drop a galaxy and let her go au natural. Just to see what I might be missing. Probably should have done that with my first one or two just to see. Before going all overboard on LST anyway. Probably better to learn to walk before running.

Happy Friday 😊!!! Ended up switching on Saturday so we are day 6 of flip. Stretch is starting. Keep an eye on Walters legs we will use him as a growth chart. My experience we will not be able to see Walter in 14 days. Razzterpiece is loaded with bud sites as is her mother Masterpiece and sugar cane. They've filled the 5' length already. I may have waited to long to flip.

Question to all my seasoned indoor photo growers. When do you believe is the optimal time to lollipop or put it lightly removed the undercarriage? I am only on photo grow #3 cuz I'm an auto guy but I treat them like autos and trim lightly but constantly. Am I doing it right or should I go full Patrick Mahomes at like week 3 and strip the bottom 1/3. Being In House Genetics makes me apprehensive as the have a reputation to not play well with stress and will herm. What say yuns?
