Rapid Rooters

I started some plants in rapid rooters now moving over to hydro buckets. Should I put a layer of clay peppels on the bottom then the rooters in with peoples around or put the rooter right on the bottom of the net pot with peoples around? Thanks

I put a layer of media between the pot and the rr

I'd definitely use a good layer of hydroton in the netlid and then place the rr/seedling in the basket and fill in with additional hydroton.
