Rapid growth splitting skin on stalk

I posted this in my journal, but hoped to get more eyes/experiences on this
I first noticed this a few days ago. The stalks of the GG4s have grown so fast during the stretch that they split their skins. I have seen this kind of behavior in all sorts of fast growing annuals and generally is not a concern. However, some squashes can grow so fast that they open gashes that can become infected or structural weak points.
On my plants they are not open wounds, but sealed and dry. The plant pictured is very healthy in every other respect.
Have you had this happen with your cannabis plants? Has it led to problems?

What causes it you think, pressure build up in the stem from the pinching? At least until the newly healed knuckle is formed and allows juices to get flowing again.?

I don't think these are connected to supercropping - at least not all of them
The more prominent one is not on a supercrop, but rather that is where the plant was topped. It's a clone so assymetrical. The branch on the right was the higher on the original stem. The branch had fused perfectly with the original stem well before the end of Veg. The training was done more than 6 weeks ago. The splits developed in the last week (third flowering).
I have dozens of supercrops and none are showing similar. The bases of all three GG4s have at least some splitting in the manifold area. I am really not very concerned. I think it is growth related, not pressure. Surface area has to expand faster than volume... sometimes it doesn't. On many plants this is a sign of vigor. Just curious if it has caused anyone problems beyond aesthetics.

I have seen that on some of my plants-never causes any issues. I'm amazed at the robustness(?) of these plants-branches folded over, trunks split open, deer foraging... doesn't even phase them

And here she is 2 weeks ago, after one week of stretching. Examining these pictures I see that the splits were just starting to form.
