Question - Calculating Yield

I'm just getting into this, but have a question about determining the average yield for any variety of cannabis. I know it has to do mainly with light and whatnot, but let's assume that part of it is ideal. I'm trying to understand what it means when a seed bank says a variety grown indoors will produce "400 - 500 gr/m2".

My grow tent is 36"x20"x62". My current assumption on how to calculate this is the following:

36 * 20 = 720 inches square
Converting that to meters square is: 0.464515.

Does that then mean a plant that's estimated to grow 400 - 500 gr/m2 would approximately (and assuming everything else is ideal) produce 46.5% of the range in my tent, or 186 - 233 gr?

Not sure on all that. I judge by strain and then the amount of training and veg time. I've seen single plants in 4x4x6 tents that can throw a pound at ya if veg and trained long enough.

Can also do a sog grow with a bunch of clones and pump out a good hit

That’s a number they reach with sea of green, meaning they know how wide and tall a plant will get without training and if you pack a square meter with plants under a 1kw Hps you should get around that. Usually a square meter can fit 4 plants so I think you could expect 100-125 grams per plant
