Question about lights.

I'm already planning ahead for the next grow and considering adding more lights to expand the canopy covered on the scrog. I currently use x2 1200 w leds, x1 T5 8bulb fluo mix of red and blue, X1 T8 8'long double bulbs. Problem is obviously the money. In flowering could I get away by adding another combo red blue fluo or would that be a waste of money? And instead be nice to santa and ask for the spendier leds? The space available on the scrog is 9x7. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Since all your light is overhead, why not invest in some cfl's that you position wherever you need them, to get to bud sites that may be missing out?

Bam! Solution found! Thanks so much insomny! Never used those before, gonna look into it. Only concern is nearly maxed out breaker, gotta do some math again

You have red and blue spectrums already covered with those LED's I think. The fluorescents aren't going to add much horsepower unless they're close to the plants, I don't see how you can do that without blocking the LEDs...

If you want horsepower, I'd drop in a 1000w hps in between the LEDs. Still the best bang for the buck, minus the electricity bill of course... you can use a MH instead for better spectrum/quality.

We have that problem too. Older wiring that doesn't take much to trip breaker. Garage and laundry room are on same circuit. I did laundry at night when the lights were off, or turned the exhaust and fan off while using the dryer. A pain, but you get in a routine and not so bad.

Yes. Buy some 25-40 watt 6500k and put them real close where you need the light. Place you hand under and watch closely how it illuminates at diferent distances and angles over your hand where you can see the difference to find the right place
