Question about clones

I have the need to take a clone from my Pineapple Chunk. When you want them to root, Do you want light or no light on the clone ?

Light but not intense light I keep mine under fluorescent light set around six inches from top of dome until roots

I like to give them 24 hrs or so of dark after getting them set, then much like tvbfe said above.

IMO CFL's are the best light in the world for clones, good light and good temp.
