Puzzling leaf behavior

I have been trying to figure out why this one plants leaves seem to drop like this not long after watering, I have looked at every possibility I can think of, humidity, over watering, under watering, it’s not excessive heat as temps inside tent are not above 80 F. They just are not erect but limp but the leaf itself feels good to the touch, it’s not papery but not fat either.

Anyone seen even this before?

Once every three days but I have a strong feeling that the root ball has not made it through the coco coir pot they were in when they were transplanted to their permanent home I was not here so my wife repotted them and left two in their 4 inch coco pots, my pharmacy said the roots would push through it ok but perhaps somehow there is a problem with it’s drainage at the root ball
 
Hmm sounds like that may be the culprit. I had a similar issue a while back in one of my seedlings. I ended up carefully opening up the rockwool to see what was up. Sure enough the little root system was tangled in a tight ball and wasn't able to push through, limiting any growth. Have you had any similar incidents before?
 
Maybe I will be a lot more sparing with watering for a bit and maybe lower humidity in there to see if they can pull out through the leaves?
 
If possible, I'd try to check out the roots just to make sure the issue isn't from there. Because if it is, it won't matter what you do, she wont respond well. If the roots are fine, then you may want to be careful with the watering.
 
Well I haven’t used any hydro guard as yet or any type of root supplement but they are on there way this weekend, thanks, I will have to water sparingly for next few days till I can see if any root treatment bares results, not sure how I could check the roots at this point sadly
 
I would basically repot. When you remove it from its outer pot if you don't see roots, I would gently investigate inward. My guess is the soil will fall away from the inner pot that was supposed to break up but didn't.

Then I would gently open up the inner pot and free up the roots and repot.
 
I was thinking drainage issues causing over-watering symptoms. I see the puffy leaves too and it's typical of too much water. I think these guys are right on, repot so you can see what's going on with the roots and remove the coco if needed.
 
CaliforniakidSheesh thank you so much guys, while I was offline the wife and I talked and we decided we were gonna in scrog them all and repot into 7 gallon smart pots, this will enable me to do what you suggest and investigate and if needed remove the coco pot. Will do this on Friday so will post the outcome afterward. Many Many thanks
 
I have had a grow where my girls did exactly the same thing. I would wager your plant bounces back by the next day. Mine did anyway. I didn't like watering because I just hated to see them get that way. Five minutes after watering was droop city man. I grow in soil and the best I could figure for my situation was I over watered them as seedlings and because of that lack of oxygen,they never got a good root system established so every time I watered them,those puny roots couldn't keep up and they drowned a little bit. I don't know if that's it but it made sense to me. Peace
 
Hassinator, yeh when this was a seedling it was in a solo cup outside in hot sun, I managed to save it but it’s only started behaving this way in the last week so what with the coco coir pot the roots weren’t strong enough to push through as the other one did no problem, two white widows both same age same plant from seed, both in 4 inch coco pots then transplanted into these 2 gallon pots, one pushed through but on REN, I think her roots didn’t get through properly and stunted her roots, I will report back after repotting this friday and post pics of her development 24 hrs afterward.
 
This is Rens sister McDonald, see the difference? Both from seed same mother plant same conditions, same watering regime.

Yea big difference. Has to be the roots. Glad you caught this early. I'm sure she'll recover. Good luck with the transplant.
 
Gave em a really good watering, focusing on the root zone only it took over an hour by slowly drip watering until I saw run off, just watched the largest fan leaves that were drooping rise like a time lapse before my eyes. Will still be repotting this friday

I got my Nute order already in so will wait for the Hydroguard to arrive and try that, unscrogging and repotting this Friday, so far the one that has the leaf droop is healthy apart from this happening, I can’t wait to get to the ‘root’ of the problem.....
 
Follow up. This is Ren this morning, she has responded well by increasing temp , basically not running ac as much, one very careful full water, spent over an hour just trickling water around the main stem , so inside the coco coir pot and not the rest of the pot. Peeked In just now and saw the leaves getting better.
