Hello Growers, I have made a couple post on this first grow of mine that have helped me diagnose the issues and solutions to my plant so far but now I am having an issue that is seeming to be the most troubling so far. About a week ago now I noticed my runoff water PH was around 5.5 or so and was not sure why that was the case I tried flushing twice in which both times the PH was brought back up to 6 but each time after checking the day after it was lower again with it currently sitting around 5.7. Around this time I also started noticing my plants fan leaves were developing purple spots on the of most my top middle canopy which seems to now be starting to affect the sugarleafs. Upon noticing this I assumed it was maybe a nutrient deficiency and tried to correct but that led to my plants leafs also getting burnt tips so I thought it could have also been lock out from PH or the because my light is a bit close to the some of the buds maybe but I am not sure what it could be at this point. I am first not even sure if i still need to try and correct the runoff PH or if it is normal for it to be a little lower. So yea I am wondering what might be the cause of the purple color developing and what can I do to stop it and I am also honestly wondering how I should do nutrient feeding a bit too because I read that it should be done every day since im using coco but that feels like a lot and with the issues I'm having I'm not even sure if I am giving the right amounts or frequency. So yes any information would be helpful especially with weather I should keep flushing until runoff stays at 6 and what the possible reason for my plants issues are, thank you! I am growing in COCO with foxfarms nutrients Most recent runoff PPM was around 800. I have included images of the issue along with a healthier looking part at the edge for reference.

Hey @Bowii How far along in flower are you? Determine when to water your plants using the lift and weigh method if you can reach the pots. Water each pot to runoff, then lift the pot to get a feel for the weight of it. Wait two days and lift it again. If your plants are drinking a lot of water you will notice a difference in the weight. If you can't reach the pots to lift and weigh watch the coco, wait to water until the top turns light brown and is not moist to the touch. You only need to water everyday if your plants are noticeably drying out in 24 hours.

Hi I believe you responded to my previous post actually too where I mentioned it felt like my plant had a stall from heat, after I had gotten past that issue by getting an AC for the tent it continued to resume growth after about a week. So considering this and based on its appearance I believe im in about the 6th week of flowering right now. I have been lifting the pot to keep track of the weight and notice usually after a day it a decent bit lighter and the top layer aside from maybe the edge of the pot looks dry, but this has felt much more significant in flowering I feel like i need to give much more water to achieve runoff since It has started flowering. I have gone a day without watering once and did notice everything still looked pretty good but I just mostly have been doing it everyday since that is what I read is ideal. Just recently I have just recently been trying to keep track of my solutions PPM last I remember it was around 600 before I watered the pot, I usually gave about half a gallon of nutrient solution at a time but last feeding gave a bit more than gallon since I have been needing to use a good bit more water.

OK, about 6 weeks into flowering. You weighing process sounds right, that's good. Giving more water to achieve runoff also makes sense.
You might just be seeing a natural process called senescence. It's the natural process of a plant taking nutrients from leaves and using the stored nutrients to grow the developing buds. Those fan leaves are solar panels and the stored nutrients in them are for use later when plant needs them. There's a debate going on about that. Some say that when a plant presents such as yours that there is a PH problem at the roots. Others say that's the natural process of the plant using the stored nutrients.
Your plants look good, maybe a bit crowded, but overall IMHO they look good. I would not worry so much about the burnt tips or the runoff PH. Your nutrient PH is in range going in. Watch your plants though.

I would agree with @golfnrl, and add two flushes in a week or so will also add some stress.
Keep at it, waiting for them to dry out a bit as described. You’re not too far from the end, probably best to just water as needed and get to the end. We all want to do something to make the plants better but sometimes doing less is the answer
