Purple leaves towards end of flowering and time for Harvest ?

Hi, I am a first time grower.

I am currently DWC hydroponically growing 2 x feminised White Widow x Big Bud plants in a 4x4x7 grow tent with 2 x 400W LED Roleadro COB Lights and using cheapo Poundland hydro nutrients .

Grow started from seed 22 Sept . switched to flower 12/12 on Nov 27th.

Mainlined both with 8 main colas on each.
Regularly started defoliating midway through vegetation period. Appears to be growing ok. Some teething problems with PH and stretching and one plant is significantly smaller than the other.

There have been clear trichomes for ages and don,t seem to be many cloudy ones but a few amber ones now.

A number of fan leaves are turning purple. (Mainly higher ones)

Would be grateful if anyone could tell me if this is normal and what could cause this .

Would it also be time to harvest or is it worth hanging on for a few more days to allow the buds to possibly increase in size.

No pics i am afraid .

I appreciate a more sativa type of high, so I would harvest. The couch lock guys may tell you to wait for more amber.

Robbie I'm drooling. Sounds real good, and WELCOME to the forum. C'mon with the pics man. Purple leaves are perfectly normal, probably part of the strain you are growing. Some girls don't show all their true colors until towards the end.
Flockshot is right, sounds like you are real close to the snip snip. You can harvest buds you think are ready and leave the others on the plant to ripen. No more than 10 days after the first chop of the axe.
Good luck on the most fun part of the grow, well, next to smoking it. I look forward to the scissor hash.
