Puny plants!

I've been growing exclusively Indicas for 3 years, in a 2x4 tent with a 700w. blurple light. Mars Hydro LED light in 5 gallon bags. Ocean Forest soil, cal mag and some kelp. Used FF nutrients for soil but had problems with burn so I scaled back to just the cal mag and kelp. My problem is my plants seem so puny! 36" puny, including the bag! I don't get it as I do everything I've read in the tutorials here since day 1. Should I get a stronger light? I'm considering a new full spectrum one that's 2000w. To conclude, after I switch to 12/12 the plants barely get any bigger, much less double in height.

Hey btypolice@aol.com Doubling in height is like a seed company saying 600g per sm. It's best case scenario. This grow, I have badass lighting going on. My plants didn't grow but a few extra inches after flip. The double is a bar to set so you don't run out of room in your tent.
I'm curious what others say about plants doubling, soil vs coco vs DWC. I'm all soil and have not seen a doubling.
