Psychedelic, Moby D, Northern lights crossing experiment.

Yea I checked that out, think the conclusion is many things can cause it.
Maybe the super soil a bit "hot" cause it's supposed to last a whole grow, maybe the pH is out, maybe it not draining as well as the other and holding water more. Problem can't be that bad though otherwise the leaves wouldn't look the right colour ay?

I think it's an individual tolerance to all of the above. My last grow was purple stem. I haven't seen any in this one. The only difference in any of my grows is the seed. Food, light, and pH are always the same. The article lays down some possible what-ifs.​
Do I understand you went seed to supersoil? And why are you planning on transplanting from supersoil to CT? Why transplant?
And why am I remembering CT coming up in another thread, but the products I'm googling are different than I remember? That might be rhetorical because I dab.
In almost 7 years of growing, 5 the same way, I still get nervous watching plants develop. Will it pop? Is it going slow? Is this what I remember? Have I seen this before? Is that the right color? Yeah, it's a slow drip, 10+ week adrenaline rush. A 10+ week game of draw poker.

Yea I went seed to soil this time, I don't like the watering bit when they seedlings so i didn't want to start in the big pot plus Ive read multiple things about they grow quicker at the start in a smaller pot. i only had half a bag of super soil left so I needed to get some more and I got the ct for half the price and twice the volume of the ss that was the main factor. plus they messed up my order and sent me 200 ltrs of coco mix and said they might organise return freight if I can't use it. Little bonus there.
Not sure bout other threads on the ct but it looks like a good mix to me on paper.
Yes I'm exactly the same, quite stressful at times but that makes it all the more rewarding.
 
Call me a prude, but there are some names I can't see myself smoking just for the embarrassment of asking, 'Can I get an eighth of Psyche-dick-lic?' Alaskan Thunder Fuck. Cat Piss. Purple panty dropper. Google how many 'pussy' strains there are. I will not ask a SHBT if she has Happy Pussy or Stinky Pussy.
Moby Dick is the only Dick strain I can find in the same amount of time I spent looking up Pussy strains. Expanded strain research shows penis strain is a medical condition that should not be taken lightly.​
My kingdom for a landrace!
 
Fingers crossed these will fit in here for 5 or so more weeks.

Yea going to be doing a bit of topping by then I suspect, but I got too excited and still have to finish and dry 2 blue dreams before I can sort these out. Unless I pull the one I'm going to reverse out of the tent and in with the blue dreams for the last few weeks and start spraying it then pull the others out into 12-12 while I dry in tent then put the reversal into the tent to finish. I'm also toying with the idea of letting them pollenate themselves and just put up with all seedy buds. I think the biggest thing I'm going to be fighting is our upcoming summer/heat. Hopefully I can get it all wrapped up before Christmas, might be able to throw a few sneaky autos in the garden if I do:silly:
 
You are going to be buuuuuusy! We’re coming into fall here and I’m excited to get joker finished ( about 3 weeks of flowering left) and start two gushers. I’m trying to decide if i want to also do 2-3 autos, haven’t nailed down the logistics of that yet. Cant wait to follow your progress with your babies
 
5 days after transplant and some of these ready for a topping. The ones that were smaller are catching up except one northern lights.

Thanks, just a 4ltr humidifier that I put a old vacuum cleaner hose on, had limited room in tent plus it easier to fill up and the algae doesn't grow so quick :p
 
BRILLIANT!!!! I’m not ashamed to admit I’m stealing this idea because i was not smart enough to think of it myself!
 
Haha go for it. I'll take a photo later of what I done, and how I had to cut a slit in the lowest point of the hose to let the excess condensation drip out,...

Unbelievable how much difference having a tent compared to a room makes. Fastest start I've ever had even compared to when I was doin DWC. Gonna top these tomorrow except the biggest one, Moby D I'm gonna pull that out soon maybe this week maybe next and start spraying her, it, shim... Just gotta find out how old they should be before reversing, I'm seeing alot about 5 weeks but I not sure if that's from seed or sprout or vege... ?

Funny, I went and seen ole mate for a top up and he is currently moving LSD strain. Very nice indeed. Something to compare with.
