hi everyone, i am looking for some advice or instruction on what to do,i'm not sure how i let it happen but im the girls are on week 3 of flower and they have way to many branches and i want to clean them up but i dont know if its to late thx for the .help

What I try to do is to maximize the footprint of each plant's canopy.
As the plant stretches during flower, I try to 'encourage' those lower nodes into open canopy.
If those lower nodes are being shielded by growth above, then I'll make the decision to remove them to promote growth on the top.

I agree with what gbauto says, but I would do that right now and not cut anything after that. I'm assuming they're not autos.

You are in the prime time for defoliation. Only remove leaves or branches that are useless (at the bottom of the plant so they get no light) or leaves covering bud sites. Don't get scissor happy. I have found that when working with my plants that when in doubt, less is more.

Good advice above. In general try to spread them out to maximize bud site exposure to light. Pruning is a style you have to develop. Make sure you are talking with your plants about it. They will tell you what they need if you have a working relationship.

I try to get all my training and cleanup done by week 3 of flower. If you're already there I'd still do some cleaning of your lowers and spreading the canopy to get light down low. Better late than never. It's pretty easy to tell by week 3 or 4 which branches aren't going to produce the quality you're looking for. Of course, if you're going for quantity vs quality you can leave as much as you want.
