Pruning 101

Here's the stuff I was taught when i started in landscaping, all the techniques and recommendations that I still use everyday at work. And since I started growing I found out they still apply! Who would have thunk? Not that pot growers ever borrowed traditional farmers techniques right? Anyways I thought it might be of interest to some of you. To me one of the most essential rule of thumb is that if you take out more than a third of the crown then you end up with a bunch of extra growth. Plan this part right and it should help with stretch and bud formation. The advice re aesthetic pruning doesn't apply so much here although maybe we can get a poodle shape pot pruning contest! Who's in?

This is great- I look for university based information that can be applied to cannabis!
It helps counter balance the "internet wisdom" for growing pot.

Thanks,

Yeah I found this and thought there's no way I can explain it any better than a college professor! Im married to one, I know them people are smart people! Reminders, often offered they are...
Ah the wisdom of the internet, i think very often my 6 year old has more of it...
