Producing auto seeds?

My question today is, which may have been answered before, in which case we can save someone a search, I was wondering if it might be possible to produce feminized seeds for auto flowering plants using the colloidal silver solution method? Is it even possible to do this with an auto flower plant and how would I go about it? Thank you, Vivat crescat floreat. 👹
 
Auto flowers are the same as regular plants except the ruderalis trait (no photoperiod) is bred into it. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use traditional feminizing techniques.

Arent most autos feminized though?
 
I would like to produce my own auto flowering seeds instead of buying them, (think Mr Crabs) I'm cheap, so i was wondering if anyone ever produced their own seeds? I would love to be able to have a jar of auto seeds hanging around, thank you everyone !!!! As always, im surrounded by pure genius!!!!
 
You're in for a lot of work if you plan on doing this right. You definitely need to brush up on genetics. It will be tricky getting the autoflower trait stabilized into your strain. Good luck!
 
That would be awesome ......but the time, space does not quantify this....would be left with inferior seeds I imagine.
so many strains why tie your yourself down with just one.
Sell a bag or two to pay for seeds.....leave the genetics to the people with tons of space and time.

I'm not trying to talk you out of it...it would be cool indeed

I never really thought of becoming a dad to my own invented strain, but that would be the sh💩t!!! No, i was thinking of just getting two of the same girls (auto diesels) and using the colloidal silver solution to mate them to produce my own auto flower seeds instead of having to purchase them for every grow, i think it would be easier in the long run and better then spending so much. 💰💰
 
You get tired of smoking the same strain all the time. I have been smoking Purple Kush for 3 years now and I'm ready for a change. LOL
 
From all the reading I've done and it was extensive) and seen it done twice (well the results anyway). The results will be more than likely they will all be hermied from there on.

Doing it the real way is the best

I think if you are running autos, time or stealth are important. I do get the cost factor, and there are deals out there - but specific strains are more expensive. That said, I wanted to do some Northern Lights. Found a deal and got 9 seeds. Im not going to have to worry much about stock :) I think maximizing gram per watt is the better route. If you can set up 3 plants and get 4-6oz, try getting 6-8 or up to 10. stadium, vertical, good genetics that veg great early that can be trained for 10+ tops :)
 
Ouch! That would not work for me. I have a love for variety. I find a particular strain that can set me up for a video game session at 5am for 3 hours and go on a winning streak without a YAWN, and another strain that will put me back to bed after an hour of the high sifting through the head and body. Some taste better, some just feel better. Some more medicated, some more trippy. Gosh thats what makes it so much fun!
 
That is awesome Chemichael, I would have a hard time knowing what I'm smoking with that much of a variety. I need to come to your house for a smoke session.:cool:
 
Yeah!! If you had all that variety it wouldn't be such a big deal ordering seeds! There are so many varieties these days! Especially when you think back to the 60's and 70's!!
