Thought I had a problem with this one because it wouldn't go into flowering mode. The problem was the security lights. Unscrewed them and look what happened 😄

Ya...i dont think i would like two 150w bulbs shining on me while im tryin to sleep either..lol. Looks like shes doing fine now! screw the security lights...gotta take care of the plants. haha

I wish I could!! 🙁 I have another problem!! Some of the buds are looking ready, most techromes have turned opaque,but, some of it's pistols are still greenish (green/white little "afros") It looks as if the plants eastward facing side is more mature than the west side. Is it because they get the most sunshine?Should I just harvest thesections that are ready ? The techromes are turning Amber. I think that's what I'm going to do. I'll keep posting.

Check the tricomes to see if it's ready. Pistols are not very accurate as sometimes new pistols can form late into flowering. Also, sometimes the pistols look ready sometimes but the trics are not. I recommend a jewelers loupe. Check out this article, specifically the trichome method https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest

Thanks for the comments. I have a Carson 20-60x lighted microscope that works great. I decided to take portions that the pistols have mostly turned brown. That was about a 1/5 of the plant. The delay in the changing from veg to flower gave it time to get huge. Now long as the weather holds,this is going to be a great harvest!!

Good for you Benji501 sure is great to see someone else doing sequential harvest. I've done a lot of that taking ripe colas allowing rest to finish proper. You will be happy you did. We just needed less rain up here started too early PNW now having low temps over night. I love harvesting my own weed and good weed to boot. There's a guy here selling 17% CBD he says hemp plants full grown for $50 each " U pick" friggin unreal. Man how times are rapidly changing. Have a great day and enjoy your harvest!
