Okay so i watched the grow boss all about nutrients and he states that o average for a 600w light it should be 50ppm week1 veg up to 500ppm week 10. so how does foxfarm expecete to do 500ppm right off the start with out burning my plants out? and up to 2000+ppm
That's one of the biggest problems with soil. You are not supposed to feed plants until flower in theory. That's why people use coco or soil less mediums. So you can give your plants exactly what hey need and nothing more. I use ff happy frog soil and its very hot for seedling. Once they got used to it they grow like crazy and only need calmag right till flush. Then he soil will be way lighter. Try to mix with perlite. Or vermiculite. Or even plain coco. Diluting soil for seedlings is a common practice. I've seen he grow boss and he try's to sell the idea of a "magic formula" which does not exist. So don't worry much about following the recipe but to understand what and why he is doin. Here is some info on ppm so you can understand better. There are several scales used by nutrients manufacturers and meters manufacturers.
Autoflower blueberry tangerine dream and candy cane in promix and perlight 1/3, led lights 24/0 there now on day 13 of flower for week 3 the tds ppm is 1660 and week 9 though 12 tds ppm with 2tablespoons mollases is 1600 that's because grow big is higher in tds ppm than tiger bloom. I only use big bloom tiger bloom and grow big for nutes
That's a very useful chart the only thing u need to take into consideration is the ppm/ ec of the water ur starting with because ro is differnt than tap and we'll and rain water
It's hard to say not knowing ur strain and how old it is I just followed the fox farm chart of nutrients, but I have learned by adding 2tablespoons of molasses I got a slight case of iron toxicity. I'm also on well water I dnt know the ppm of iron in the water
