hi growers, I have a question in regards to some powdery mildew I found on a couple plants in my greenhouse. I believe I have correctly diagnosed this issue and done what i can to address it with contaminated leaf removal and increase air circulation in the problem areas. I am about one month into flowering which means short of cutting off the flowers Ive done what I can. Ive also noticed the white powder on the stem of the plant too. My question is wether or not I should isolate the infected plant by removing it from the greenhouse. Im on 12/12 light deprivation so removing the plant would be possible but a huge pain in the ass as far as keeping it on our feeding program and continuing 12/12. The plant its self was always a under achiever but has some buds and is worth saving. Im going to look into getting some pics posted. Thank you.

White Powdery Mildew (WPM) is an opportunistic event , as the spores are every where, regardless if symptoms are showing or not.
The 2 common type of WPM occur at the extremes- indoor WPM happens when the temps & humidity is low and outdoor WPM occures when temps and humidity is high.
The first step is to correct your environment so it can not take hold and grow on your plants.
I assume that we are talking high temps/humidity in a greenhouse. Doing whatever you can to reduce the extremes, will be helpful and you have already removed effected leaves and increased air circulation.
It needs to be taken a step further in the flowering stage you are in (week 4)- I would suggest that you defoliate all fan & large leaves except a few on each branch at the bottom (creating a "skirt" of sorts) and increase ventilation, too.
It is also, important that leaves do not touch each other- especially one on top of another.
You need to address any over crowding, plants too close to walls creating dead air space and make certain adjacent leaves from other plants are not touching.
Other than that- no true isolation needs to happen.
I've had indoor WPM with low temps/humidity and used a solution of baking soda, but wouldn't try it if my humidity was high.

That never hurts to try.
I keep a separate tent, at the ready, to quarantine a plant for any reason.
